Job Overview

The Truck Sales Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating truck sales activities to drive business growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and communicating inventory control and sales guidelines.
  • Maintaining and distributing inventory listings, specifications, and availability status.
  • Directing staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs.
  • Reviewing market analysis to determine customer needs and develop sales campaigns.
  • Specifying and ordering new trucks for inventory and overseeing the factory 'pre-billing' and invoicing process.
  • Preparing budgets and developing profit goals, analyzing and controlling expenditures to meet budgetary requirements.
  • Identifying and qualifying sales opportunities within municipal accounts and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Preparing and delivering sales proposals, negotiating and closing sales contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities and meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
