Job Summary

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide expert technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and systems hardware and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and systems hardware and software
  • Coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
  • Apply basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions
  • Provide remote support access through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for worldwide sites
  • Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow-up problems brought to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure
  • Modify, move, and install new equipment
  • Perform technical tasks and provide site support
  • Perform integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems
  • Interface with our Tier 2 technical support team and our Availability Management team to escalate any issues that require additional assistance to resolve
  • Perform Data Transfer Agent requests to transfer files between networks
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of demonstrated experience or HS/GED and 10 years of experience
  • CompTIA A+ CE
  • CompTIA Security+ CE
  • Monday - Friday 10am-6pm
