Custom Fabrication Specialist

A reputable family-owned enterprise is seeking a Custom Fabrication Specialist to become a vital part of their team, focusing on bespoke window treatment solutions.
In this position, you will be responsible for interpreting custom order requests, cutting materials, and assembling components to precise specifications for installation teams. Your work will encompass a variety of tasks, from creating tracks for drapery to integrating advanced motorized systems for effortless operation of blinds.
Success in this role hinges on your ability to think creatively and leverage external resources to devise effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process work orders from various departments, cutting and assembling parts to required dimensions.
- Maintain an organized inventory of materials and procure additional supplies as necessary.
- Adhere to timelines for installation requirements.
- Employ creative thinking to develop intricate solutions for unique window and home designs.
- Support additional projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fabrication or a related field (such as carpentry, maintenance, repairs, or entry-level engineering).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for utilizing external resources to solve problems.
- Quick learner, comfortable adapting to new systems.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs, bending, twisting, and handling long, slender materials.
- Proficient and comfortable using tools such as table saws, wire cutters, and other power equipment.
Compensation:
* $24-$27 per hour
