About the Role

The CNC Sheet Metal Programmer is a critical member of our team at Actalent, responsible for programming and optimizing the operation of CNC press brakes, laser cutters, punch presses, and panel benders in a high-precision, high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program and optimize CNC machinery for efficient and accurate production of complex sheet metal components
  • Develop expertise in sheet metal product design, manufacturing processes, and metrology
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production and quality control
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in CNC technology
Requirements
  • 8 years of experience as a CNC programmer for sheet metal fabrication in a high-precision, high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in programming and operating CNC press brakes, laser cutters, punch presses, and panel benders
  • Strong understanding of sheet metal product design, manufacturing processes, and metrology
  • Expertise in CAD/CAM software for 3D modeling and CNC program generation
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and metrology data
