Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Center Representative to join our team at MGMA-ACMPE. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our internal and external customers, ensuring that all new members receive a warm welcome, have their questions answered, and are trained on their benefits and resources available through the Association.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound calls and chats from customers, providing prompt and professional service to meet service level expectations.
  • Monitor and respond to emails and chat requests from Association staff to ensure proper phone coverage.
  • Process daily workloads and provide status updates to internal and external customers.
  • Ensure accurate and complete data entry for all customer requests.
  • Provide customer service support and feedback to Association departments and managers.
  • Perform service coordination activities for processing memberships and explaining membership benefits.
  • Act as a liaison between departments and educate team members on new developments in those departments.
  • Maintain knowledge of Association products, services, and policies to upsell and meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of professional experience in sales, client management, call center, or customer support environment with a record of selling or upselling higher levels of products/services.
  • Experience driving client membership, developing relationships, and managing the needs of healthcare organizations preferred.
Working Environment

The work environment is generally performed in an indoor, professional office environment. May need to attend conferences in various locations around the United States. Regular, predictable attendance is required.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this job include sitting for extended periods, interacting with software applications, and occasional movement inside the office. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and perform basic mathematics processes.
