Domestic Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Domestic Operations Agent to join our team at Radiant Global Logistics Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating domestic freight forwarding, pricing, and shipment follow-up. If you have a strong knowledge of North American geography and experience in transportation or logistics, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate domestic freight forwarding, including alerting and routing via various internet tools and updating transportation software systems.
* Price domestic air, ground, LTL, and FTL shipments.
* Handle shipments with attention to detail and standard operating procedures.
* Assist in moving freight for a wide variety of customers in the US.
* Recognize possible and existing service failures and issues and effectively communicate these situations to management as needed.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or International Trade or related discipline (asset).
* Minimum 1-3 years' experience in Domestic Operations.
* Freight Forwarding experience is an asset.
* Strong knowledge of North American geography.
* Experience in Transportation or Logistics industry is an asset.
* Cruise ship logistics experience is an asset.
* Experience in Magaya WMS is an asset.
Technical Skills:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word).
* Intermediate computer skills required in Excel (e.g., formulas, graph).
* Working knowledge of Transportation Management Software (asset) (e.g., SAP, Cargowise).

* Effective/Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written form.

Work Schedule:
* Set working hours of 8 hours per day with requisite meal and rest breaks.
* Consistently report to work on time, prepared to perform required duties.
* Ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent.
Work Environment:
* Usually moderate noise level.
* Climate-controlled office environment.
Language Skills:
* Ability to read and interpret documents, spreadsheets, emails, and instructions.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
* Ability to speak clearly and effectively to both internal and external contacts.
