Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and authorize timecard submissions for hourly employees across multiple locations for payroll processing.
- Manage the Paid Time Off (PTO) calendar to ensure adequate staffing during operational hours.
- Maintain an updated report of employee absences for all team members.
- Support the Human Resources Department with onboarding processes to ensure compliance with firm policies.
- Assist with human resource functions, including interview scheduling.
- Act as a resource for team members regarding benefits and liaise with the corporate HR department.
- Provide support to employees facing challenges in their roles and refer them to HR for further assistance as necessary.
- Report on office performance to management and work towards enhancing operational procedures.
- Help organize and oversee employee recognition initiatives.
- Maintain a directory of service providers to ensure clients receive appropriate care.
- Foster a professional and positive workplace by promoting effective communication among staff.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as an Office Manager or in a similar capacity.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in office management software and productivity tools.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Education & Experience:
- Associate's degree (preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of advanced administrative experience (required).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (required).
- Experience in a legal firm environment is advantageous.
