Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Medicine Technician to join our team at Medical Network of Alaska. As an Occupational Medicine Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Comply with regulatory agency rules and regulations to maintain federal, state, and local compliance.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform patient triage and vital signs.
  • Conduct and/or understand clinical services division technical aspects, including audiograms, RMA/PFTs, FCEs, and fit testing.
  • Collect samples on-site.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • EMT II/III, Paramedic, or CMA certification preferred.
  • 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • Ability to reside in or near Wasilla, Alaska.
  • General knowledge of EMR software and Outlook programs.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities required for the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
