POSITION OVERVIEW

Visual Edge Technology is seeking a Lead Sales Strategist to guide and cultivate a sales team of Business Technology Advisors (New Business Development) to exemplify customer-centric and consultative selling skills in our market.

This position has the potential to expand to oversee a broader market that may include the entire state.

Mentor the team to utilize business strategies, account planning, pipeline management, and opportunity identification to meet objectives. A strong emphasis is placed on performance enhancement through ongoing coaching. You will be accountable for driving results through new business initiatives and broadening service offerings across our client base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive a sales team to implement Visual Edge Technology's Equipment and Services Strategy, capabilities, standards, and initiatives.
  • Ensure profitable growth of equipment and core services for assigned accounts, including contract retention, expansion, and service additions.
  • Focus on New Business Development with an emphasis on the VEIT hardware and professional services portfolio.
  • Hold Account Managers accountable for executing sales activities, meeting specific KPIs, and closing deals at the client level to deepen account engagement.
  • Establish clear expectations by creating structure and routine while monitoring activities that support sales goals.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to align efforts, support, and talent to achieve sales objectives.
  • Actively engage with peers and specialized areas to address challenges or develop more effective processes for driving growth.
  • Mentor and develop talent across multiple locations within your market region.
  • Evaluate talent and identify strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Through a defined selling methodology, coach Business Technology Advisors (BTA) to ensure they understand the fundamentals and refine their skills to meet high standards.
  • Develop growth plans with BTA to continuously challenge them to elevate their performance.
  • Proactively engage to meet company financial goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of experience in selling products and services.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales management.
  • Experience managing talent across multiple locations is a plus.
  • Background in Managed IT Services is advantageous.
  • Consultative sales experience is preferred.
  • Industry experience is desirable.
