Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies with a certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years ophthalmology experience with strong expertise required.
  • Minimum of 10 years in senior operational roles, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence in ophthalmology, preferably in a private equity-backed environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies in a clinical setting.
  • Operational experience in multi-site ophthalmology practice, preferably in a private-equity backed environment.
  • Strong understanding of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and experience in optimizing EMR workflows.
  • Expertise in data analytics and performance metrics to drive data-informed decision-making and process improvements.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from conception to completion.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Stellar interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and build relationships with clinical, administrative, and executive teams.
