Position Overview

The Academic Program Coordinator plays a crucial role within the administrative framework, providing essential support to faculty members in their academic and operational endeavors. This position is designed to align with the institution's mission and strategic goals, ensuring that faculty receive comprehensive assistance in teaching, research, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Office and Course Support: Assist faculty with course preparation, manage learning management systems, track student performance, and oversee technical requirements for classes.
  • Administrative Coordination: Provide research and information management support, maintain faculty records, and facilitate travel arrangements for conferences.
  • Communication Management: Serve as the primary liaison for faculty inquiries, organize meetings, and coordinate special events and programs.
  • Grant and Financial Support: Aid in the preparation of grant proposals, manage expense reports, and oversee financial transactions related to faculty activities.
  • Schedule Management: Organize and maintain faculty calendars, coordinate various activities, and ensure timely communication regarding schedule changes.
  • Information Management: Establish and maintain organized files to guarantee easy access to important information.

Qualifications:
  • Associates degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to manage high-level administrative tasks and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in office procedures and computer applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and confidentiality.
