As a vital member of the Registrar's Office, the Service Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating communication and support for students, faculty, and staff. This position is dedicated to ensuring accurate data management and timely responses to inquiries, thereby enhancing the academic experience at Dartmouth College.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional service to the Dartmouth community, focusing on students and faculty. Address a variety of complex inquiries and assist in resolving administrative issues related to academic matters.
- Data Management: Oversee the processing of official transcripts and citations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in student information systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with academic departments to develop and maintain the Timetable of Class Meetings, providing procedural support and directing them to appropriate resources.
- Office Administration: Maintain office supplies, communicate with administrative offices regarding Registrar processes, and assist with data entry and updates.
- Training and Development: Participate in application testing and training for new Registrar technologies, ensuring compliance with academic policies.
Qualifications
- Education: An Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Experience: A minimum of four years in a professional environment, preferably in higher education.
- Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to interpret complex processes, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree and experience in a higher education setting are highly desirable.
