Position Overview:

The Lifelong Learning Program Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Director and team in the development and implementation of educational initiatives aimed at engaging alumni, families, and friends of Dartmouth College.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of communication strategies, including content creation and travel coordination.
  • Manage traveler registrations, oversee mailings, handle marketing invoicing, and maintain the alumni travel database.
  • Participate in daily operational tasks, prepare necessary materials, coordinate meeting logistics, and supervise student workers.
  • Collaborate with Alumni Relations and serve as a representative of Lifelong Learning in communications with institutional colleagues.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in event management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Strong writing and proofreading capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software.
  • High initiative and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good judgment and the ability to engage with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to teamwork and professionalism.
  • Ability to adapt to pressures, deadlines, and shifting priorities.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Familiarity with computer networks and systems.
  • Knowledge of Dartmouth College is advantageous.
