Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at Braeswood Estates Senior Living. As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents, families, and guests, while also supporting the administrative team with various tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate department or person
  • Greeting residents, families, guests, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
  • Communicating effectively between departments for special events, vendors, guest meals, visitors, outside providers, and inquiries
  • Performing general office duties, including typing, filing, distribution of mail, and other tasks as assigned
  • Guiding tours, filling out inquiry forms, and introducing prospective residents to the appropriate manager on duty, if needed
  • Following marketing guidelines for phone inquiries and guided tours
  • Accepting rental payments and issuing receipts if requested
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A desire and willingness to learn new systems
  • Prior work in reception or customer service preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job and communicate effectively through written information
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledgeable on the computer and able to operate Microsoft Office
  • Ability to represent the facility in a positive and professional manner
  • Ability to work effectively in an individual or team setting
