Responsibilities of the Pastry Assistant:

  • Prepare and organize ingredients and tools for creating desserts and pastries.
  • Adhere to established recipes and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality products within designated timeframes.
  • Produce pastries that meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Requirements for the Pastry Assistant:
  • At least one year of experience in food production.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in baking or pastry production.
  • Successful completion of food safety training within the first month of employment.
  • Availability to work during days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements for the Pastry Assistant:
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for 95% of the shift.
  • Capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds for 30% of the shift.
  • Engagement in pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and reaching overhead for 50% of the shift.
