Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support the Room Attendants in upholding cleanliness standards throughout the establishment.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service consistently.
  • Complete daily cleaning assignments for common areas, including the lobby, gym, conference rooms, and public spaces, while documenting any damages or deficiencies.
  • Perform essential cleaning tasks such as changing bed linens, replacing towels, sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and managing waste disposal.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and cleaning equipment by restocking linens, supplies, and amenities as needed.
  • Engage with guests and homeowners by providing maid services and addressing inquiries or issues related to other resort areas.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration among staff.
  • Commit to personal and professional growth to ensure a positive work environment while prioritizing guest satisfaction.
  • Handle lost and found items by reporting them to the housekeeping supervisor.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Execute daily cleaning of assigned units according to departmental standards within designated timeframes to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough check-out cleans, which include sanitizing bathrooms, cleaning kitchenettes, changing linens, and preparing living areas for incoming guests.
  • Inspect drawers and closets for lost items.
  • Check appliances and lighting, reporting any issues to maintenance for prompt repairs.
  • Utilize cleaning supplies responsibly and report inventory shortages to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Notify maintenance of any damages or necessary repairs.
  • Keep cleaning carts, vacuums, and storage areas in orderly condition.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures, clean windows, and manage the removal and sorting of linens, waste, and recyclables.
  • Vacuum as needed.
Additional Information:

Regular attendance is crucial for the successful execution of this role. Employees with inconsistent attendance may face disciplinary measures.

Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may need to work flexible schedules to meet the operational needs of the hotel.

Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is mandatory.

All employees must adhere to the established rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel's facilities.

Violations of hotel policies may result in disciplinary action.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and use hands for various tasks. Requires bending, kneeling, and reaching.

May need to lift and carry weights ranging from 11 to 75 pounds.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous.
