Duties and Responsibilities:· Accurately records numerical and financial information to generate comprehensive financial documentation.
· Verifies the correctness and precision of financial data entries.
· Inputs journal entries to appropriately debit and credit the organization's accounts.
· Produces accounting and audit reports related to cash inflows, accounts payable and receivable, expenditures, and overall financial performance.
· Identifies and reconciles discrepancies or issues within financial records.
· Undertakes additional related tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:· Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data interpretation.
· Proficient in utilizing accounting software for recording, storing, and analyzing financial information.
· Capable of efficiently operating a 10-key calculator or similar office equipment.
· Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software.
· Familiarity with administrative and clerical processes.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:· High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree with a focus on accounting is preferred.
· A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience is essential, ideally within the financial sector.
· At least 2 years of experience with Acumatica ERP is required.
Physical Requirements:· Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
· Must be capable of lifting up to 15 pounds as needed.
