Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Gecko Hospitality. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, including sales, fiscal operations, accounting, recruitment, and maintenance of the building and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Revenue: Oversee the revenue of the restaurant, with the goal of exceeding budget and preserving cost-effectiveness and profitability in accordance with company policies.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Prepare monthly reports for the corporate office and ensure compliance with corporate office financial procedures, including handling cash, credit cards, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and all other financial transactions.
  • Build and Lead a Team: Build an outstanding team around you, hiring, mentoring, and guiding the team to achieve success both personally and professionally.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest has an exceptional dining experience, with a focus on honesty and integrity.
  • Open Availability: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Drive Sales: Drive positive sales and raise guest counts through effective marketing and promotional strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Restaurant Operations Manager or similar role.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to build and lead a high-performing team.
  • Financial Management: Strong financial management skills, with the ability to manage revenue, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Guest Service: Excellent guest service skills, with a focus on honesty and integrity.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with guests, staff, and management.
