Job Overview

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Special Education Instructor to provide tailored educational experiences for students with disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in inclusive teaching methodologies and demonstrate exceptional communication abilities, fostering a nurturing and supportive classroom atmosphere.


Position Details:
  • Full-time commitment
    • 37.5 hours per week
  • Onsite engagement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, collaborating with families, support personnel, and service providers.
  • Modify and adapt educational materials to accommodate the diverse learning requirements of students with disabilities, ensuring inclusivity and promoting academic success.
  • Utilize a range of teaching strategies, accommodations, and assistive technologies to enhance student participation and achievement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
  • Current teaching certification or licensure in Special Education.
  • Prior experience as a Special Education Instructor, ideally within an educational framework.
  • Familiarity with special education legislation, guidelines, and effective practices.
  • Knowledge of personalized instruction, behavior management strategies, and research-based interventions.
