Job Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef Instructor to join our team at The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. As a Chef Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our Recreational Program, providing them with the skills and knowledge to succeed in the culinary industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and informative cooking classes, focusing on classic fundamentals of cooking and baking, as well as techniques for mastering common and exotic ingredients.
  • Provide direction and feedback to students of varying skill levels, ensuring successful classroom operations and an outstanding educational experience.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen, ensuring that all food items are cooked and served properly and under sanitary conditions.
  • Adjust teaching style to meet the needs of diverse groups of participants, including adults, teens, beginners, and advanced students.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.
Requirements
  • Culinary school graduate or a minimum of 5 years working in the food service industry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, orally and in writing.
  • Candidates must be able to pass a CORI background check.
Work Environment
  • This job occurs primarily in commercial kitchens, which may vary in temperature and humidity.
