About the Role
We are seeking a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver/Direct Support Professional, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Support individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
- Assist with behavioral challenges and other complex needs
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and community resources
Requirements
- No formal education required
- No experience required
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts
- Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
- Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
