Production Rack Specialist

East Side Plating is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Racker within our day shift operations. The primary responsibility of the Racker is to prepare customer components for the plating process by securely hanging them on designated racks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently positions parts on various racks, carts, and fixtures in preparation for plating.
- Utilizes masking and plugs on parts as specified by customer requirements.
- Proposes enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintains accurate records of work orders using computer systems.
- Adheres to safety protocols, consistently meets quality and productivity benchmarks, and demonstrates reliability in attendance.
Required Qualifications:
- Capable of conducting visual inspections on parts to identify potential quality concerns prior to processing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team setting and follow directions effectively.
- Proficient in following both written and verbal instructions, with strong collaboration skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs throughout the workday.
- Willingness to wear necessary safety gear, including gloves and safety glasses.
Preferred Qualifications:
Shifts: Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with occasional overtime.
Compensation: Starting at $20.00 per hour.
