Technical Communications Specialist

The Ford Agency is seeking a skilled Technical Communications Specialist to join our team at a prestigious international law firm. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for creating clear and concise communications that effectively convey complex IT solutions to a broad audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and edit communications that support IT strategy and goals
  • Manage and maintain the IT intranet site, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Design and implement communication campaign strategies to engage stakeholders
  • Collect and analyze feedback to inform future communications plans
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IT and communications
  • Collaborate with CIO and IT leadership to ensure communications align with team goals and strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Technical Writing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT communications, with a focus on technical writing and content development
  • Large law firm experience preferred, with a strong understanding of IT solutions and language
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Technical certifications (PMP, CSM, etc.) and experience with project management tools a plus

Location: The Ford Agency is based in Washington, DC, and this position requires candidates to be based in the DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
