About the Role:

The State of New Mexico is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Specialist to provide support to the Fleet Headquarters and Service Center located in Santa Fe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling officers and civilians for services and repairs
  • Data entry into Chevin Fleet Management software
  • Working closely with officers and civilians to ensure timely vehicle repairs
  • Managing Pool Cars and ensuring proper sign-out and return procedures
  • Requesting Purchase Orders and processing invoices for payments
  • Assisting other Business Operations Specialists with invoice processing and Per Diem for travel
  • Providing support to other Administrators and Technicians
  • Aiding with auction prep, including compiling information for units being sold and recording sale details

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or Equivalency and one (1) year of experience in office administration, budgeting, purchasing, finance, accounting, auditing, cash management, and/or contract management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer
  • Knowledge of the SHARE financial system
  • Knowledge of Fleet Management software
  • Excellent customer service skills

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDD) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting up to twenty-five (25) pounds may be required.
