Job Summary:
H&E Equipment Services is seeking a skilled Equipment Inspector to join our team. As an Equipment Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting various heavy equipment product lines, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect heavy equipment to identify any damage or defects
- Complete equipment condition reports and damage inspection reports
- Perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition
- Test the safety and operational capabilities of all rental equipment
- Assist with loading and unloading of equipment from trailers
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required at all times
- Knowledgeable in the operation, maintenance, and basic repair of aerial, earthmoving, and general equipment
- Attention to detail
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
- Safety-conscious attitude toward all assigned tasks
- Professional attitude
- Ability to perform tasks independently without direct supervision
- Mechanical or equipment operation experience is a plus
