About the Role

EXL is seeking self-directed independent contractors to work as Commercial Insurance Inspectors. As a Risk Control Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting on-site surveys and providing risk control reports to insurance industry clients. These reports will contain information necessary to underwrite a commercial insurance policy and may include recommendations to control and/or correct potential loss-producing conditions associated with that policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk control reports to insurance industry clients
  • Manage assignments you accept, successfully secure customer appointments within a local territory, and complete work assignments on time
  • Evaluate businesses behind the scenes to identify hazards and improve safety, mitigating risk for our insurance company clients

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Commitment to meeting client quality and timeliness standards
  • Preferred experience in commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss control, underwriting, and/or fire and safety experience
