About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team at Gary Yeomans Ford Knoxville. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional repair services to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform welding, suspension, and framework repairs, with experience in these areas a plus or willingness to learn and train.
  • Identify and determine parts required for repair, review repair orders, work orders, and Body Shop Managers' estimate notes, and follow warranty guidelines.
  • Adjust, replace, and repair all series of truck and trailer equipment, including sheet metal repairs, fiberglass/panel repairs, fabrication, and structural welding.
  • Road test vehicles when necessary.
  • Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills and truck manufacturer's repair process.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications.
  • Damage Analysis and Estimating Certification for Collision Repair.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Components Certification for Collision Repair.
  • Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair Certification for Collision Repair.
  • State Vehicle Inspector Certification.
  • Certifications listed above or equivalent experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Willingness to submit to drug screen and background check.
