Certified Welding Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Welding Engineer to join our team. As a Welding Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing welding engineering operations to take our processes to the next level.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement welding engineering operations to improve efficiency and quality
- Program and troubleshoot robotic welders and ancillary equipment
- Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Plan, organize, and maintain equipment and process data
- Adhere to the highest standards of excellence with attention to detail
- Maintain safety standards in the welding engineering operations
- Ensure quality control standards are met
- Reduce equipment downtime
- Develop and implement Continuous Improvement suggestions
- Manage resources and personnel within the welding engineering operations
- Bachelor's Degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Certified Welding Inspector from an approved internationally recognized organization
- 5 years of experience in welding operations or 5 years of combined metallurgical experience
- Knowledge of welding process automation, robotic welding, and weld fixtures
- Experience with programmable logic controllers, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A competitive salary range of $70,000 - $85,000 per year
