Position Overview: The role involves driving the external sales of business deposit accounts along with a comprehensive suite of Treasury products and services. The focus is on cultivating strong relationships with both external clients and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective referrals and tailored solutions for client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the external sales efforts for business deposit accounts and Treasury Management offerings.
  • Engage in sales outreach to existing and prospective clients in collaboration with commercial lending relationship managers and branch leaders, while also independently generating new leads.
  • Evaluate deposit statements from various financial institutions, craft detailed proposals, and present these to both new and existing clients.
  • Oversee a client portfolio to foster and enhance relationships.
  • Resolve complex issues by assessing their importance and providing viable solution options that align with client expectations.
  • Install and troubleshoot remote deposit capture systems, ACH services, online wire transfers, and future Treasury products as necessary.
  • Promote additional products across other divisions of the bank, including Investments, Insurance, and Trust services.
  • Maintain an active presence in the community through involvement in service organizations and participation in local events.
  • Assist the Treasury Management division and Commercial Lending with additional tasks as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of banking experience, including at least two (2) years in Treasury Management or Retail Banking with demonstrated outside sales success.
  • Proven sales expertise.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of treasury and cash management products and services.
  • Strong presentation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Internet navigation, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently using reliable personal transportation.

Additional Skills:

  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, along with effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in operating standard office equipment.
