Job Summary

Verano Brands, a leading cannabis company, is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to drive sales growth and expand our presence in the Massachusetts market. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with retail accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our branded products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities, and develop strategies to capture new accounts and expand our share of spend within each account.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at retail accounts, and provide exceptional customer service to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, and use this information to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, and provide regular sales reports and insights to management.
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience in a B2B environment, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and motivation.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the Massachusetts market.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cannabis industry experience, with knowledge of the Massachusetts market and regulatory environment.
  • Existing relationships with retail accounts in the Massachusetts market.
  • Experience working with dispensary buyers and purchasing managers.
