Role Summary: The Sales and Marketing Executive is tasked with driving revenue acceleration and enhancing market reach. This influential position demands a history of cultivating and managing high-achieving teams to meet ambitious sales and market share objectives.
Location: Washington DC Metro Area – Hybrid role (candidates should reside within an hour of key metropolitan areas)
Compensation: $85,000 – $145,000 total compensation (inclusive of performance incentives and deferred earnings)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support the sales team, establishing clear expectations and accountability for performance.
- Formulate and execute strategies to meet sales revenue goals, monitoring progress and adapting plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design and implement cohesive marketing and sales initiatives, utilizing data insights to enhance lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Enhance sales and marketing operations for optimal performance.
- Drive operational efficiency by refining processes, adopting best practices, and leveraging analytical insights.
- Ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts to achieve outstanding results.
- Develop and manage budget strategies to maximize return on investment and promote sustainable growth, tracking financial metrics for informed decision-making.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team.
- Provide ongoing performance analysis and identify improvement opportunities for the sales team.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a sales management or supervisory capacity, demonstrating effective leadership and team management.
- At least 5 years of experience in a sales representative role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to devise and implement sales strategies.
- Experience in budget oversight and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Robust analytical skills with a history of using data to guide decision-making and enhance performance.
- Experience in a related industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
