Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Social Services Assistant to join our team at the Everett Center in Everett, WA. As a Social Services Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our social service staff, working closely with the social worker and director to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to social service staff, including patient admission and discharge processes.
  • Collaborate with patients, residents, and their families to provide support and resource information.
  • Respond to issues identified by patients, residents, and their families.
  • Facilitate patient/resident transfer within the nursing center to ensure a seamless transition and patient/resident adjustment.
  • Participate in the healthcare decision-making process within the nursing center under the direction of a qualified social worker and/or qualified consultant.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in human services with a minimum of two years' experience in long-term care.
  • Must possess any certification required by state regulations.
