We are in search of a motivated, dynamic, and client-centric Client Solution Architect to join our Acceptance Solutions Professional Services team.


The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with minimal supervision. This individual is a quick learner and an effective communicator, possessing a strong ability to influence solution architecture among internal stakeholders and external clients. Additionally, they should be capable of providing guidance to junior architects, consultants, and analysts within the project team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate workshops to identify client needs, extract insights, and design solutions that align with client requirements while considering Visa's Acceptance Platform strategy, client ecosystem, desired time-to-market, and global applicability.
  • Analyze current state architecture, articulate a future state vision, and develop target state architectures, while prioritizing features to fulfill client demands on and off the Visa Acceptance Platform.
  • Serve as the technical advocate for clients within Visa, balancing their needs with competing product development priorities to effectively manage expectations and delivery timelines.
  • Provide thought leadership on payments and commerce-related topics to shape a vision for specific solution areas, ensuring applicability across our broader client base.
  • Initiate solution ideation and execution, collaborating with CyberSource solution owners and product managers, as well as third-party technology providers, to transform ideas into proof of concepts and prototypes.
  • Generate Solution Documents and other artifacts that outline functional and non-functional requirements, solution designs, user experience, and impacted components.
  • Collaborate with Product Development Systems Architects to ensure client solutions are in alignment with long-term platform architecture strategies.
  • Work closely with client-facing teams and coordinate with Engagement Managers and Solution Engineers to oversee all technical payment-related client deliverables.
  • Engage with Product Managers, Sales Engineers, Developers, and External vendors on solution scoping and business case development for new initiatives.
  • Coordinate with core product teams to prioritize product changes and feature enhancements, identifying critical paths and risks.
  • Participate in internal and external testing of all products and solutions to ensure compliance with defined requirements and quality standards.
  • Maintain a high level of expertise across Visa Acceptance Solutions' products and solutions, understanding strategic context, priorities, and revenue goals.
  • Stay informed about evolving payment technologies, innovations, and strategic partnerships that could enhance our existing products and solutions.
