Job Title: Finance Data Architecture Senior Group Manager

As a key member of the Citigroup team, the Finance Data Architecture Senior Group Manager plays a critical role in shaping the company's data architecture strategy. This senior-level position requires a deep understanding of data architecture principles, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data architecture principles and frameworks for Citigroup's Enterprise
  • Create and maintain formal enterprise information management requirements, including business architecture models, conceptual and logical data models, data flows, enterprise data standards, adoption strategies, and data remediation recommendations
  • Lead the creation of high-level business architecture that accelerates solution designs, improves quality of applications, drives data quality and interoperability, and ensures maximum utilization of shared assets and services
  • Work closely with key business SMEs to develop an in-depth understanding of their critical data needs and business impact of existing data quality and data integrity issues
  • Recognize patterns of data needs across multiple Finance business requirements and determine how to address these requirements using an effective and efficient business data architecture
  • Oversee the integration of disparate financial data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency across systems
  • Implement ETL processes to manage data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Enable advanced analytics and reporting capabilities by developing and maintaining data warehouse and lakes
  • Mentor and build a data analysts and business intelligence teams to create insightful financial reports and dashboards
Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in Banking, Financial Services
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and building Enterprise Data Solutions, preferably for Financial services environment
  • Proficiency in data modeling, database design (SQL and NoSQL), and experience in big data technologies and cloud platform
  • Experience in data analysis, visualization tools, and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience in creating/participating in Information Technology Ontology, covering formal naming, and definitions of the categories, properties, and relations between the concepts, data, or entities that pertain to one, many, or all domains
  • Experience in developing and maintaining a metadata management framework to ensure accurate and comprehensive metadata for all data assets
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of data professionals and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders at all levels
