About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. As a key member of our Desktop Support group, you will be responsible for providing real-time support for technology problems and fulfillment services for our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with a team of Desktop Support technicians to provide technical support for desktops, laptops, monitors, and personal printers.
  • System administration of Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS X desktops and laptops.
  • Provide hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and technology support for desktops, laptops, monitors, and personal printers.
  • Deploy and reclaim computer equipment, including maintaining asset management databases with current status.
  • Document work in various tools, such as Remedy and Clarity.
  • Provide excellent customer support to Schwab employees.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or a minimum of 1-3 years' recent experience supporting technology in an enterprise-wide internal Service Center environment.
  • Working knowledge of PC technical support of the Windows and Macintosh OS (Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS X).
  • Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal.
