We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Charles Schwab & Co. This is an entry-level position that will focus on providing real-time support for technology problems and fulfillment services for our internal customers.
Key Responsibilities- Work with a team of Desktop Support technicians in one of the largest service centers at Schwab with over 6,000 users.
- System administration of Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS X desktops and laptops.
- Provide hands-on installation, troubleshooting, and technology support for desktops, laptops, monitors, and personal printers.
- Deploy and reclaim computer equipment, including maintaining asset management database with current status.
- Document work in various tools, such as Remedy and Clarity.
- Provide excellent customer support to Schwab employees.
- A Bachelor's degree in technology or a minimum 1-3 years' recent experience supporting technology in an enterprise-wide internal Service Center environment.
- A working knowledge of PC technical support of the Windows and Macintosh OS (Windows 10, Windows 11, and Mac OS X).
- Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal.
