About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team at Colgate-Palmolive. As a key member of our Global IT organization, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of our business systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support global LIMS implementations and provide ongoing support to end-users to drive capabilities.
  • Become a functional/technical expert on LIMS and Biovia eLN archive (system features, system functionality, access/security controls, master data, and understanding of the business processes these systems support).
  • Partner with Global IT and end-users to design, test, and implement new features and ensure legacy systems are decommissioned properly to preserve data integrity and searching.
  • Be a liaison between end-users and Global IT: Champion the needs of Global Technology to Global IT and perform System Administrator duties as needed (set up new users, manage security roles, provide training, etc).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Sciences, Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant background.
  • 3+ years of experience in business process analysis/business process design activities and concepts preferred.
  • Strong computer skills a must (e.g., Excel Pivot tables, V Look Up, Google, etc., experience with SAP or LIMS preferred).
  • Problem-solving skills - use logic & reasoning to identify the strengths & weaknesses of alternative solutions to problems.
  • Assess & mitigate impact on the business process and end-users.
  • Determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions can affect outcomes.
  • Expertise in system design, testing, implementation, FDA validation, and Global IT's 5-step methodology.
  • Expertise in developing & delivering end-user training.
  • Ability to execute end-to-end testing of the software and processes to evaluate proper functionality and performance.
  • Use expertise to test for features/look for hidden issues not part of the standard test script.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $91,000.00 - $114,000.00 USD. Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills, and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, and Disability insurance plans.
  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements.
  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually.
  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually.
  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year.
  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements).
