Standardized Patient Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Standardized Patient to join our team at Augusta University. As a Standardized Patient, you will play a critical role in the training and assessment of healthcare professionals, including medical students, residents, and nurses.
Responsibilities:- Portray a patient, family member, or healthcare team member in a standardized way
- Recall actions and dialogue from previous interactions with trainees
- Wear a hospital gown with only undergarments underneath during simulations
- Undergo physical examination maneuvers
- Provide feedback to learners in a constructive manner
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a standardized patient, healthcare professional, instructor, or actor preferred
- Ability to follow directions and simulate clinical scenarios
- Competitive hourly rate
