Job Title: Standardized Patient

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Standardized Patient. As a Standardized Patient, you will play a critical role in the training and assessment of healthcare professionals, including medical students, residents, and nurses.

Responsibilities:
  • Portray a patient, family member, or healthcare team member in a standardized way
  • Follow directions and procedures for the exam
  • Recall actions and dialogue from previous interactions with trainees
  • Provide constructive feedback to learners
  • Accurately complete checklists indicating areas addressed or not addressed by the learner
  • Participate in mock interviews, counseling, and physical examinations
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience as a standardized patient, healthcare professional, instructor, or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
