Cybersecurity Solutions Manager

At Palo Alto Networks, we're seeking a highly skilled Major Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving and orchestrating large complex sales cycles, working closely with our internal partners and teams to best serve our customers.
About the RoleThe Major Account Manager will play a critical role in identifying business challenges and creating solutions for our customers. You will be responsible for understanding the competitive landscape and customer needs, effectively positioning our portfolio of solutions, and creating clear goals and accurate forecasting through developing a detailed territory plan.
Key Responsibilities- Drive and orchestrate large complex sales cycles, working closely with internal partners and teams to best serve customers
- Identify business challenges and create solutions for customers
- Understand competitive landscape and customer needs, positioning our portfolio of solutions
- Create clear goals and accurate forecasting through detailed territory planning
- Leverage prospect stories to create compelling value propositions with insights into value for specific accounts
- Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect our products and services
- Travel as necessary within territory and to company-wide meetings
- Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in networking and/or security industry - SASE technology preferred
- Demonstrated experience selling complex solutions, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
- Technical aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
- Identify problems, review data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions
- Cultivate relationships with channel partners to bring channel-centric go-to-market approach for customers
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of full sales cycle and ability to follow structured sales process
- Ability to take holistic approach to problem solving, understanding bigger picture and considering complex interrelationships and outcomes
- Excellent time management skills, working with high levels of autonomy and self-direction
