Cybersecurity Project Manager

At Expeditors, we're seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead our team in delivering quality working software with predictability, efficiency, and velocity. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will coordinate with stakeholders to understand their cybersecurity needs, establish project requirements, and provide regular updates on project progress and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the team in self-organization to deliver quality working software with predictability, efficiency, and velocity
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to understand their cybersecurity needs, establish project requirements, and provide regular updates on project progress and deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations professionals to design and implement tailored cybersecurity solutions for industrial environments
  • Oversee the deployment and integration of cybersecurity technologies and process improvements
  • Identify and address project risks and issues proactively, implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure project success
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various medium to large-sized system integration projects
Requirements:
  • Interest in the Cybersecurity discipline and pursuing continuous learning about Cybersecurity technologies
  • Ability to successfully navigate and execute within ambiguous and stressful situations
  • Strong communication and execution capabilities
  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies and activities, particularly Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
  • Assertive personality, interpersonal, action, and outcome-driven mentality
  • Ability to actively inspire, coach, mentor, and motivate
  • Well-organized with a keen attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management or Scrum Master experience SAFe Scrum Master certification or similar
  • Firsthand cybersecurity project management/technical project management experience
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity topics and network security: firewall intrusion detection and protection systems and security information and event management (SIEM)
  • Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams to deliver results with tight deadlines
  • Understanding of the transportation/logistics industry
