Job Description

Remitly, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect to design and build robust information security systems for detecting and investigating potentially malicious activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement threat detection and response solutions in a cloud-first environment, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Develop and automate threat detection analytics and threat hunting methodologies.
  • Utilize the MITRE ATT&CK framework and application to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive incident response efforts and support the definition and execution of threat detection and response strategy.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related STEM field.
  • 3 years of experience with cyber security and systems engineering.
  • Experience with threat detection and response solution development, cloud security, and threat hunting methodologies.
  • Proficiency in AWS RedShift, AWS Cloud Trail, AWS Shield, AWS Guard Duty, Bash, Burp Suite, cloud security, CrowdStrike, DynamoDB, End Point Security, Infrastructure Security, PowerShell, Python, RSA Netwitness, Splunk Enterprise Security, Threat Modeling, and Wireshark.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $180,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year.
  • Telecommuting options available from anywhere in the US with manager's approval.
