Cybersecurity Specialist

Expeditors is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and our customers' electronic data.
Job Responsibilities:- Improves and maintains our security operations tooling and processes.
- Promotes security awareness across the global organization.
- Participates in implementing solutions for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
- Supports, maintains, and troubleshoots network security at all branches across the globe.
- Responds to security events across six continents.
- Identifies, remediates, and mitigates security vulnerabilities.
- Conducts risk assessment using a threat modeling method.
- Researches, evaluates, and recommends systems and procedures for the prevention, detection, and containment of data and systems.
- Monitors and evaluates systems for unauthorized access.
- Oversees and performs the design and deployment of security infrastructure and applications.
- Trains Cybersecurity team members and promotes security awareness in the organization.
- Experience with EDR tools and solutions.
- Experience with SIEM and security monitoring tools.
- Understanding of Information technology.
- Passionate about Cybersecurity.
- In-depth troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Knowledge and experience using and maintaining Firewalls, Proxy, and VPN devices.
- Prior experience investigating cybersecurity incidents and events.
- Stay current on Information Technology security trends.
- Experience with network, application, and system penetration testing and techniques.
- Participate in after-hours work including an on-call rotation.
- Experience working with security automation solutions.
- 5+ years' experience working in a Cybersecurity Analyst, Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar role.
