Job Title: Payor Contracting Specialist PRN

Moody Neuro Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a highly skilled Payor Contracting Specialist PRN to support our contracting efforts for our Lubbock, Houston, and Galveston facilities.

Job Summary:

The Payor Contracting Specialist PRN will be responsible for evaluating current payor contracts and rates, establishing new payor contracting contacts, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate current payor contracts and rates, proposing changes as needed to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate the contracting process from initiation through closure, including preparing contract amendments, extensions, and terminations as needed.
  • Work with stakeholders to review proposed rates and ensure contract billing requirements are communicated and monitored.
  • Establish new payor contracting contacts and draft proposals, reviewing market information and determining other potential payor sources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation, developing dashboards to monitor contract performance, compliance, and renewal dates.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • 6+ years' experience working in a high-level administrative support position, with 2+ years in a medical group, health plan, hospital, or other related healthcare organization.
  • Proven track record of successful contract analysis and administration preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
