Position Overview:

The Night Auditor is responsible for executing the night audit processes to uphold financial integrity and adhere to hotel protocols. This role requires collaboration with various departments, including Security and Housekeeping, to guarantee exceptional service for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by reviewing Point of Service records to detail revenue, guest counts, service fees, gratuities, and payment types.
  • Generate audit reports from the front office system and other relevant platforms.
  • Address any discrepancies and troubleshoot computer-related issues that may arise during the shift.
  • Input financial data into the front office system to produce daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and Daily Restaurant Summary.
  • Reconcile all revenue and settlement accounts each night, maintain accurate records, and prepare the system for the following day’s operations.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for work.
  • Execute additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Basic math skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations using a 10-key.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively address guest and associate inquiries in a positive manner.
  • Proficient in accessing and entering information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication styles to various audiences.
