As a Helpdesk Support Intern, your primary responsibility will be to deliver user assistance and first-tier support by facilitating incident resolution. You will be expected to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with end users. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to simplify technical terminology and concepts for non-technical individuals.
This internship is part-time, requiring 20-30 hours per week, and is a paid opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic Help Desk support (Tier 1)
- Assist with the setup and upgrades of computers, telephones, and other IT-related devices
- Conduct IT orientation sessions for new team members
- Support staff with audio-visual system setups in meeting rooms
- Offer assistance for special projects related to hardware and software improvements and troubleshooting
- Current student pursuing an internship or a recent graduate with a degree in Information Technology
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a positive attitude
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of interacting with diverse individuals at all levels
- Able to manage deadlines while handling multiple requests and projects
This is a part-time role with competitive compensation based on experience.
