We are seeking a Watch Administrator with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Alder Division in Northern VA. The successful candidate will provide support to a telephone and trouble ticket oriented Service Desk in support of a customer's mission-oriented IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tiered troubleshooting and problem solving using on-the-job experience, documentation, knowledge bases, and deployed network and IT management tools.
- Serve as liaison between end users/customers and Sr. technical staff if problems are escalated.
- Process routine customer work orders, including adding routes, adding system accounts, and performing password resets using Active Directory.
- Monitor system alerts using various proprietary applications on multiple networks.
- Identify and document alerts using the ticketing system and notification emails. Escalate issues to Tier 2/3 and provide troubleshooting assistance.
Required Education and Experience:
- TS/SCI with polygraph required
- Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10, Linux (CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu, Debian), VMware (vSphere), and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including routing and switching, firewalls, load balancing, DNS, and DHCP.
