About the Role

SJS Executives, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Technician to support construction operations within a local healthcare facility.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our clients. As a Senior Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Engineering and Design: Develop and implement engineering solutions to complex construction problems, including drawing and field verifications, and markup and changes to hardcopies.
  • Procurement and Compliance: Develop acquisition materials for new or existing procurements, including scopes of work, cost estimates, market research, and other VAR/FAAR documents.
  • Compliance Management: Develop compliance management schedules for life safety and environment of care elements of performance, including inspection reports, frequency, and due dates.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Add preventative maintenance into Maximo based on contractor deliverables of fire alarm, generator and electrical systems, medical gas, elevator transport, legionella, HVAC, and water treatment.
  • Audit and Training: Audit equipment in the field and enter data in Maximo for facility maintenance assets, preventative maintenance, and parts and materials. Provide training to FM staff on means and methods to add job plans, parent preventative maintenance plans, and best practices in Maximo.
Requirements
  • Experience: Possess at least 10 years of specialized construction experience with a focus on field-based construction management, with at least 3 of those years in healthcare construction.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoDesk systems, including AutoCAD and REVIT, and ability to communicate orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge: Full knowledge of engineering and architectural concepts, principles, and practices for the design, layout, and construction of medical facilities, associated buildings, parking, roadways, and site utilities.
  • Certifications: Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation.
