As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the architecture, hardware, storage, performance, and DevSecOps aspects of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop technology solutions that meet the needs of the Air Force Weather community.
  • Lead the architecture, hardware, storage, performance, and DevSecOps aspects of our projects.
  • Develop and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Ansible.
  • Design and implement service-based standards such as REST and Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Web Services (OWS).
  • Develop and implement testing tools such as Junit, Selenium, and jMeter.
  • Develop and implement code quality tools such as Sonar and Cast.
  • Develop and implement static scanning tools such as Fortify.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 14+ years of experience, or 22+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with Enterprise Storage, purchasing and licenses, Agile methodologies, configuration management tools, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery concepts.
  • Familiarity with service-based standards, testing tools, code quality tools, and static scanning tools.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Secret Clearance.
