Brunel is seeking a skilled University Relations Coordinator to collaborate with a major Oil and Gas company in Houston, TX on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies with campus teams to attract top talent, aligned with target university tiers.
  • Manage and analyze historical data on new hires, interns, and co-ops, providing actionable insights for the Talent Acquisition Group.
  • Establish and maintain strong university relations, serving as a liaison to department heads and fostering relationships with professional and student organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with Affirmative Action plans in all staffing activities.
  • Oversee the summer intern program, including:
  • Onboarding and assigning summer projects.
  • Identifying mentors for each intern.
  • Coordinating field trips, tours, and poster presentations.
  • Leading intern evaluations and facilitating full-time job offers before their return to university.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience, with at least 2 years in university recruitment preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables and formulas), and PowerPoint.
  • Strong diplomacy and interpersonal skills with a pleasant demeanor.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both functional and line management.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience with Microsoft Teams.
  • General experience with employee policies and benefits administration.
