University Relations Liaison

Brunel is seeking a skilled University Relations Coordinator to collaborate with a major Oil and Gas company in Houston, TX on a long-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies with campus teams to attract top talent, aligned with target university tiers.
- Manage and analyze historical data on new hires, interns, and co-ops, providing actionable insights for the Talent Acquisition Group.
- Establish and maintain strong university relations, serving as a liaison to department heads and fostering relationships with professional and student organizations.
- Ensure compliance with Affirmative Action plans in all staffing activities.
- Oversee the summer intern program, including:
- Onboarding and assigning summer projects.
- Identifying mentors for each intern.
- Coordinating field trips, tours, and poster presentations.
- Leading intern evaluations and facilitating full-time job offers before their return to university.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience, with at least 2 years in university recruitment preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (pivot tables and formulas), and PowerPoint.
- Strong diplomacy and interpersonal skills with a pleasant demeanor.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both functional and line management.
- Strong organizational skills and experience with Microsoft Teams.
- General experience with employee policies and benefits administration.
